LD’s Filling Station came to be in June 2001. A couple by the name of Harold and Phyllis Edgar wanted to fulfill a longtime dream of opening a breakfast shop. Soon into their new venture they decided a coffee shop wasn’t all they were looking for, and decided to create a neighborhood restaurant and bar. After long discussions on a name of their new business, the decision of LD’s was made. Harold and Phyllis wanted this to be a family oriented business and used their children’s names of Lori and Danielle thus forth became the name of LD’s. The Filling Station part just seemed to fit in as the whole family is quite fond of vintage cars and the “good ole’ days”. After many hours of hard work and determination the dream of LD’s Filling Station has come into reality. The Edgar family, along with “L” and “D”, wishes to welcome you to our establishment and hope you visit us often.
